How do you secure a wooden pergola to concrete ground?

The pergola is 12 foot long, 8 foot wide, and has 10 feet four by four posts. The bars across are latticed to the beams. Will I need to secure this structure to the ground? If so, what is the best way?

I am no carpenter but on the HGTV network they sink posts into the cement on the ground to secure the structure. Even my fence has several of these posts sunk into cement to reinforce the fence and make it sturdy.

    concrete anchors (quick-bolts)
    or
    lag screws with concrete inserts

your best luck is to get some angle brackets
screw them to the beam and hammer drill a hole in the concrete and use one of the anchors i noted above

or they might have a bracket that would let you anchor it and then mount the beam on top hiding the mounting screws
