I went to pick up some pond equipment yesterday, and the person selling the equipment also gave me his fish and frogs. My pond liner doesn’t arrive until tomorrow. I have put the fish in a large bucket, and the frogs in another. I know the fish will be fine, but I’m worried about the frogs. I have given them about 3 inches of water, and placed two square stones in the water so they can climb up and don’t drown. I have covered the bucket with weed control fabric (air can get in) just so they don’t escape because there are a lot of cats around here and no other ponds, and I want to keep them safe until my pond is ready tomorrow.
Each time I have checked on them today the frogs have all been in the water, and all seem OK. I just wanted to check that I was keeping them in the best way.

Alright here we go.
I am 16 years old and am currently working on a summer landscaping project for some family members of mine. When discussing the project, we decided that the payment for the project would be to buy a brand new sound system for my 1977 Chevrolet C10 Pickup. Going into the project i had thought that i would be nice and get a reasonable stereo and set of 2 speakers to replace my old ones. As this project is taking much longer than expected, I’m now changing my plan into a bigger picture. I’m getting a Pioneer deck, but i need ideas for speakers and also a subwoofer. I also need to know if there is anything else i’ll need for the subwoofer, like if an amp is necessary or not. I was thinking Alpine speakers and a Kicker subwoofer, but honestly this will be my first time buying sound equipment for a vehicle so please, help me brainstorm and give me some good combinations. Let’s try to keep the price below $500 as well.

    Thanks all.

My yard is sloping mostly on about a 30-45 degree angle in places. Makes it really fun for water slides and sleigh riding but a pain for mowing and other necessities. I have thought about having a concrete slab poured for a small patio and would like to have a pool put in. There is a portion in the top part of the yard that is almost perfectly flat, but it is not enough to put everything. There would be enough room for MAYBE a swingset for the kids considering the other portion is filled with a flowering dogwood and some other beautiful flowers which will not be removed at this time. Poor landscaping choices from the previous owners of the house. How difficult would it be to correct the slope of the yard? I don’t see any possibility of getting any kind of heavy equipment brought in here. The grade on the street above me would be entirely too steep. There is no room between the house beside myself and I to move anything like even if we removed the fencing temporarily to do so.

We’re moving into a new house with a pretty small but very secure and fenced backyard. There’s a very large patio, and then a strip of grass about 15ft by 5 ft with landscaping around the edge.

My 3 year old’s a very active kid and I want to give her a place for her to get her energy out. There are no trees large enough to hang a swing, and we wouldn’t be able to fit in a play set. We have a freestanding slide we bought last year.

Any suggestions for small play equipment that wouldn’t overwhelm the entire backyard but would give her something to run around on?

My lily pond is a fiberglass insert. It is 8 ft. long, irregularly shaped, 18 inches deep and holds approximately 300 gallons of water. It is located within my atrium which is surrounded by four outside walls so the option of running a hose from the pond, down hill, is out of the question. Is there some device or equipment that I might use to empty this pond for the purpose of cleaning it. Until now I have had to empty it bucket by bucked and using a dry vac to get the last bit. Of course moving a dry vac with a tank full of water is quite difficult. Are there any suggestions? Please, and thanks.
